Description: Mt Isthmus Lodge is a stunning luxury lodge located on the shores of Lake Hawea. The unique curved roofline replicates topographical contours of the local landscape, while the angled rooflines emulate the surrounding peaks. 

This incredible building features copper roofing throughout, with the roofline flowing into the cladding, becoming the exterior walls. 

Watertight’s scope on this job was to install Ardex Weldtec heat-welded single layer waterproofing membrane to the entire roof structure, making the framework waterproof. The membrane was then expertly covered with copper roofing by our friends at Architectural Roofing. 

Due to the complexity of the design and the stunning location, this project was a pleasure to work on.
